PR2509 ORNAMENTAL RHUBARB SEEDS
Rheum palmatum v. tanguticum
The 2-3 foot wide, nearly round, deeply lobed purple tinted leaves emerge in spring. The 6-8
foot plants produce 2 foot long, branching clusters of red, pink or white blooms in late
spring or early summer. Grown well this is a stunning plant. Needs rich soil
with constant moisture, part shade and is recommended for areas with relatively cool summers.
Just like the common rhubarb grown as a vegetable, the leaves are poisonous. Winter hardy
to zone 5. Packet is 10 large seeds.
