Lanna Lace
African Marigold Seeds
Tagetes erecta
When you love marigolds but the brilliant oranges and yellows don't fit your garden color scheme, Lanna Lace marigolds give you big, almost white, soft pastel cream-colored pompoms that are long-lasting and weather-resistant. Sturdy 10-12 in. tall and 8-10 in. wide plants with deep green foliage hold up the 2½-3 in. fully double flowers, looking fresh and elegant all season. Lanna Lace marigolds also look great planted with brighter-colored marigolds, like the Proud Mari Mix. Lanna Lace makes a lovely display in patio containers, mass-planted in garden beds, or lining walkways.
Growing Lanna Lace Marigold Seeds
Sow marigold seed in cell packs or flats, press into soil and lightly cover. Kept at 70-75°F. germination is in 5-20 days. Transplant seedlings into the garden 8-18 in. apart (spacing is variety specific, and is on our packets) after all danger of frost.
