How to plant Gomphrena seeds

Las Vegas series gomphrenas are certified by the Dallas Arboretum as "Flameproof" for top performance in extreme heat, and have been designated "Best of the Best" by the nationally acclaimed Trial Gardens at the University of Georgia.

Generous amounts of globe-shaped 1 in. flowers bloom in bright, cheerful colors on wiry 18 in. stems. They make long lasting cut flowers which retain their color when dried. Heat, humidity, and drought-tolerant plants grow 18-20 in. wide.

Las Vegas Series gomphrena attract butterflies and hummingbirds, bring a light and airy quality to your garden, and blend well with bold annual flowers like zinnias, petunias, and marigolds. Grow in containers and sunny borders.
