Comments: Easy, uneven germination with the majority of seedlings appearing within 2-3 weeks, germination may continue for up to 5 weeks. Stratification is not beneficial. Germination to transplant averages 4-6 weeks. Will show some bloom the first year when started early, much heavier bloom will be observed the second season. Full sun, part shade in hot climates. Regular water. Widely adapted. Evergreen in warm climates, semi-evergreen in cold winter areas. Resists rabbits and deer. Attracts butterflies.
