Ivory leaves edged in vibrant green. Wizard Jade coleus forms compact, bushy plants to 12-14 in. tall which do not require pinching. Grow in afternoon or filtered shade and moist soil.
Wizard Jade coleus will brighten your shaded borders or patio containers, and can even be grown indoors on a sunny windowsill.
Growing Wizard Jade Coleus Seeds
Plant Wizard Coleus Seeds: Sow seed in cell packs or flats, use a sterilized soil-less mix. Press seeds into soil, do not cover. Needs light to germinate. Kept at 70-75°F., seedlings emerge in 10-14 days. After all danger of frost transplant into 4 in. containers, or into the garden 10 to 15 in. apart. Direct sowing is not recommended.
Grow Wizard Coleus: Part sun to light shade. Rich, moist soil. Remove flowers as they form to keep coleus foliage visible, healthy and growing. Near the end of the season, allow some of the nectar-rich flowers to form. Blooms will attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Wizard series coleus are excellent container plants, can be even be grown indoors in a brightly lit window.
