Daisy Wheel Lemon lends a fresh, daisy-like take on traditional French marigolds. A single row of soft lemon yellow, frilled petals surround a yellow button center. Compact, rounded 10 in. plants have deep green, lacy foliage, which provide nice contrast to the abundant, sunny 2 in. blooms that persist late into the summer and early fall. Daisy Wheel Lemon marigolds are eye-catching when planted in drifts, edging a walkway, or included in mixed containers.
Growing Daisy Wheel Lemon Marigold Seeds
Sow marigold seed in cell packs or flats, press into soil and lightly cover. Kept at 70-75°F. germination is in 5-20 days. Transplant seedlings into the garden 8-18 in. apart (spacing is variety specific, and is on our packets) after all danger of frost.
