The large and ruffled, fully double, 3-4 in. blooms of Savannah Moon African marigolds are lemon yellow, with long, strong stems for cutting. Robust 3 ft. plants branch freely, staying showy and prolific all summer and into the fall. Long-lasting blossoms are perfect for making garlands and other festive decorations. Savannah Moon marigolds glow all season in borders, large containers, or large-scale landscape plantings.
Growing Savannah Moon Marigold Seeds
Sow marigold seed in cell packs or flats, press into soil and lightly cover. Kept at 70-75°F. germination is in 5-20 days. Transplant seedlings into the garden 8-18 in. apart (spacing is variety specific, and is on our packets) after all danger of frost.
