The raspberry-pink trumpets of Shock Wave Rose Vein petunia are veined in deep rosy purple, and have a dark purple throat. Petite 1½-2 in., self-cleaning flowers bloom in multitudes, beginning to flower sooner and continuing for a longer time than other Wave type petunias. Heat, humidity, and rain tolerant plants grow 7-10 in. tall and 30-36 in. wide. Shock Wave Rose Vein are low maintenance trailing petunias, great for use in borders, hanging baskets, planters, or to edge pathways.
Growing Shock Wave Rose Vein Petunia Seeds
Plant Trailing Petunia Seeds: Sow seed in cell packs or flats, press into soil but do not cover. Needs light to germinate. Kept at 70-75°F., germination is in 7-21 days. Transplant into the garden 18-36 in. apart.
Grow Trailing Petunia: Full sun or part shade. In hot climates, part shade is preferred.
