Pandora Shirley poppies are semi-double and double, to 3 in. across. Colors include many sultry shades including dusky rose, red velvet, and rich burgundy red. The poppy petals are artfully streaked in silver gray.
Pandora Shirley poppy plants are bushy, long-blooming and easy to grow, to 24 to 30 in. tall. Packet is 1 gram, about 8,000 seeds.
Growing Pandora Shirley Poppy Seeds
Direct sow Shirley poppies into prepared seed beds that have been cleared of weeds and have had the top 1 in. of soil loosened. Rake seed in. Press into soil by walking over the area. Keep moist until germination. Kept at 60-75°F., germination is in 14-21 days. Can start indoors in 2 in. containers.
