Heucherette Pink coral bells is exceptionally showy and quick to bloom the first year from seed, in as little as 4 months. The 10-14 in. tall and 8-10 in. wide mounds of silvery purple, scalloped-edged foliage have contrasting dark veins and bright rose-purple undersides. In spring and early summer, many sturdy, short flower stems carry dozens of petite, light pink bell-shaped flowers with deep pink calyxes.
Heucherette Pink coral bells are semi-evergreen, winter hardy to zone 6, and may be grown as annuals in any zone when seeds are sown indoors in late winter/early spring. This early-season champion attracts hummingbirds, and is an ideal choice for garden containers or well-drained garden beds in shade to part-shade.
