Pepper Pot A Peno

Pot-a-peno

Hot Pepper Seeds

Capsicum annuum

(Hybrid) 45-50 days(green) 60-65 days(red) from transplant

AAS Winner. You guessed it, Pot-a-peno pepper is the perfect jalapeño pepper to grow in a pot. Tidy and compact hybrid plants grow 12-15 in. tall, with dense foliage to protect harvests from sun scald.  Expect heavy yields of 35-50 mildly spicy 3-4 in. thick-walled peppers per plant. Pot-a-peno peppers can be harvested green, or wait until they are red for a sweeter spicy flavor.  AAS judges praised how easily the fruit pulls off the plant to harvest, minimizing the risk of damage to the branches.
