An exquisite heavy blooming, 6 ft. tall climber that produces 1-2 in. violet blue, pink, and white trumpets from midsummer until frost. Train Jewel Mixed Asarina on a trellis or plant in hanging baskets. A tender perennial, winter hardy to zone 9. Asarina can be grown as an annual everywhere.
Growing Jewel Mixed Asarina Seeds
Start indoors 10-12 weeks before the last frost. Sow in cell packs or flats, press into soil but do not cover. Needs light to germinate. Kept at 70-75°F., germination is in 14-21 days. When seedlings have several sets of true leaves, transplant into individual containers.
