Aloha Blue's fluffy puffs of lavender-blue flowers are densely clustered above dwarf, uniform, 6-8 in. plants. Aloha Blue ageratum makes an ideal low summer border or addition to mixed containers.
Growing Aloha Blue Ageratum Seeds
Plant Ageratum Seeds: Sow seeds in cell packs or flats, press into soil but do not cover. Needs light to germinate. Kept at 75°F., germination is in 5-14 days. Can direct sow after all danger of frost in groups of 3-4 seeds spaced 6-12 in. apart. Thin to the strongest plant.
Grow Ageratum: Full sun in cooler climates, part shade elsewhere. Prefers rich, moist soil. Blooms are extraordinarily long-lived, dead heading is necessary, yet infrequent. Plants are low maintenance, resist rabbits and deer. Flowers attract bees and butterflies.
