Fast growing, upright summer annual with double daisy-like, papery flower heads in shades of purple, rose and white. Cut flowers are terrific for dried arrangements. Grows 2-3 ft. tall. Packet is 2 grams, about 2,400 seeds.
Growing Double Mixture Xeranthemum Seeds
Sow seeds in 2 in. containers, press into soil and barely cover. Light aids germination. Kept at 65-75°F., germination is within 7-14 days. Can direct sow into prepared seed beds, in rows spaced 12 in. apart. Thin to 6-8 in. apart.
