Nasturtium Seeds
Each Cherrelle nasturtium flower has a yellow center and a double helping of ruffled, velvety petals in warm cherry red. Semi-trailing stems with round, bright sea green leaves first produce low, 1 ft. mounds, then gracefully trail to about 3 ft. Cherrelle is a fine nasturtium for spilling over hanging baskets, garden walls, window boxes, or for an annual ground cover. Packet is 5 grams, about 35 seeds.
Growing Cherrelle Nasturtium Seeds
Nasturtium seeds are sown directly into the garden after all danger of frost ¾ in. deep, 4-6 in. apart. Thin seedlings to 8-12 in. apart for bush types, and 18-24 in. for trailing varieties. Can be started indoors in peat pots. Kept at 65° F., germination is in 7-14 days.
