The large leaves of Superfine Rainbow Rainbow Multicolour coleus is streaked red, salmon, yellow, and green. Easy to grow, bushy plants grow 12-15 in. tall.
Superfine Rainbow Rainbow Multicolour coleus brightens semi-shaded beds, borders and containers. Very late flowering, plants are highly colorful over an extended season.
Growing Superfine Rainbow Multicolour Coleus Seeds
Plant Superfine Rainbow coleus seeds: Sow seed in cell packs or flats, use a sterilized soil-less mix. Press seeds into soil, do not cover. Needs light to germinate. Kept at 70-75°F., seedlings emerge in 10-14 days. After all danger of frost transplant into 4 in. containers, or into the garden 10 to 16 in. apart. Direct sowing is not recommended.
Grow Superfine Rainbow coleus: Grow in part sun or filtered shade in rich, moist soil. Remove flowers as they form to keep foliage visible, healthy and growing. Near the end of the season, allow some of the nectar-rich flowers to form. Blooms will attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Superfine Rainbow series coleus are excellent container plants, can be even be grown indoors in a brightly lit window.
