Deep velvet-blue flowers. One of the best performing Easy Wave petunias in the Swallowtail Garden Seeds trial garden. In our garden Easy Wave Blue petunias started to bloom a little bit later than some, then flowered deeper into the season than many. And whereas Easy Wave White petunias might crawl up your leg if you stand in one place too long (which is terrific if you wish to cover a lot of ground quickly) Easy Wave Blue's growth is somewhat more restrained, neater, more compact.
Wave petunias of all kinds will continue to bloom without dead-heading, the flowers wither and dry, then fall off cleanly. Easy Wave petunias flower so heavily, blooms in every stage of development will be present, including recently withered blooms not yet shed. I appreciate that with Easy Wave Blue petunias, when flowers are past their prime, and not yet dropped, by their color are camouflaged, and not easily seen.
