How to Plant CAPE DAISY Seeds
Sow seed in cell packs or
flats, press into soil and lightly cover. Kept at 70° F.,
germination is in 14-21 days.
Can be direct sown into
prepared seed beds after all
danger of frost, 3 inches
apart. Thin to 1 foot apart.
Comments: Full sun, moderate to average water, fertile well-drained soil. Flowers are excellent for cutting, attract bees, butterflies and birds. Dark central cone looks like a handsome dog's nose. Cutting seedheads leads to maximum bloom, consider leaving a few for the birds to eat, especially late in the season. Easy to grow, low maintenace.
