TIDY TIPS SEEDS
A seldom offered California native wildflower. It is a member of the sunflower family. Growth is rapid to 1-1.5 feet tall. Plants produce a wealth 2 inch yellow flowers with neatly marked white tips in spring and summer. Tidy Tips naturalizes readily. One of our favorite wildflowers for its clean, bright, and cheerful early season color. Packet is ½ gram, about 300 seeds.
How to Plant Tidy Tips Seeds
Sow seed in cell packs or flats, press into soil and lightly cover. Kept at 70° F., germination is in 14-28 days. Can direct sow into prepared seed beds in rows spaced 12 inches apart. Thin to 6-8 inches apart.
