PR985 ESCAPADE BLUE PLUMBAGO SEEDS

Plumbago auriculata

A choice shrub for banks, backgrounds and patio containers - Deer resistant - Tolerates extreme heat - Needs little water once established - aka Cape Plumbago

Produces loads of beautiful 1.5 inch azure-blue flowers over a long spring, summer and fall season. Grows to 4-6 feet or more tall and tolerates both extreme heat and low moisture. Perennial in zones 9-10, it can be grown as annual everywhere else and will grow to 2 feet tall the first year. A choice plant for patio containers, for banks, backgrounds and can even be tied to a trellis and grown as a vine. Escapade Blue is more compact and better branching than cutting grown plants-and it has a higher germination rate and darker flower color compared to other seed grown plumbagos. Packet is 10 seeds.
