Produces large clusters of shining 1.5 inch azure-blue flowers over a long spring, summer and fall season. Grows to 4-6 feet or more tall and tolerates both extreme heat and low moisture. Perennial in zones 9-10, it can be grown as annual
everywhere else and will grow to 2 feet tall the first year. A choice plant for patio containers, for banks, backgrounds and can be tied to a trellis and grown as a vine. Escapade Blue Improved is more compact and better branching than cutting grown plants-and it has a higher germination rate and darker flower color compared to other seed grown plumbagos.

How to Plant PLUMBAGO Seeds
Sow seed in cell packs or
flats, press into soil and
barely cover. Kept at
65-75° F., germination averages 25-30 days.
Transplant into the garden
4 feet apart after all danger
of frost. If growing as an
annual space 2 feet apart.
