a.k.a. Canary Creeper

Tropaeolum peregrinum

The Canary Bird Vine is a vigorous annual climber that grows to 10 feet tall. From July to October vines are covered with graceful, frilled and fringed, canary yellow flowers.

How to Plant CANARY BIRD VINE Seeds

Before sowing, scratch seed coat on a sheet of sand paper and then soak in warm water for 72 hours. Be sure to change the water daily. Then sow seed ¼ inch deep in 2 inch pots. Kept at 65-75° F., most seeds will germinate in 6-8 weeks. Can be direct sown into prepared seed beds after all danger of frost, 6 seeds per foot and thinned to 18-24 inches apart.
