The canary bird vine is a vigorous, annual climber that grows to 10 ft. tall. From July to October vines are covered with graceful, frilled and fringed, canary-yellow flowers.
How to Plant Canary Bird Vine Seeds
Before sowing canary bird vine seeds, scratch seed coat using a sheet of sand paper, then soak in warm water for 72 hours. Be sure to change the water daily. Then sow seed ¼ in. deep in 2 in. pots. Kept at 65-75°F., most seeds will germinate in 6-8 weeks. Can direct sow canary bird vine seeds into prepared seed beds after all danger of frost, 6 seeds per foot. Thin seedlings to 18-24 in. apart.
