Premium Sun Lime Delight coleus is clothed in luxurious, brilliant chartreuse leaves. The vigorous, branching 20-32 in. tall plants combine beautifully with orange and red leaves or flowers.
Premium Sun Lime Delight coleus is easy to grow in borders or containers, and because they bloom very late, plants remain showy for months.
Plants will tolerate full sun (in climates with high humidity), or afternoon and filtered shade everywhere. Premium Sun Lime Delight was strong performer in the 2018 Swallowtail Garden Seeds test garden.
Growing Premium Sun Lime Delight Coleus Seeds
Plant Premium Sun Coleus Seeds: Sow seed in cell packs or flats, use a sterilized soil-less mix. Press seeds into soil, do not cover. Needs light to germinate. Kept at 70-75°F., seedlings emerge in 10-14 days. After all danger of frost transplant into 4 in. containers, or into the garden 12 to 18 in. apart. Direct sowing is not recommended.
Grow Premium Sun Coleus: Part shade to full sun. Rich, moist soil. The Premium Sun series of coleus will tolerate full sun in many areas — plants prefer part shade in the low humidity climates common to the Western United States. Remove flowers as they form to keep foliage visible, healthy and growing. Near the end of the season, allow some of the nectar-rich flowers to form. Blooms will attract hummingbirds and butterflies.
