Plant Cilantro Seeds: Sow seeds in cell packs or flats, press into soil and lightly cover. Darkness aids germination. Kept at 65-75°F., germination averages 7-14 days. Transplant seedlings 9-12 in. apart. Can direct sow cilantro seeds into prepared seed beds, ¼ in. deep, 4-6 in. apart, when soil temperature is above 60°F. Thin seedlings to 9-12 in. apart.
Grow Cilantro: For leaf production, full sun or afternoon shade. For seed production provide full sun. Cilantro performs best when grown in fertile soil, with regular moisture. Sow every 3 weeks to ensure a continuous harvest throughout the season.
